Indications

InTENSity 7

  • Symptomatic relief and management of chronic (long
    term) intractable pain.
  • Adjunctive treatment in the management of post-surgical and post-traumatic pain problems

Contraindications

InTENSity 7

  • Do not use TENS over the carotid sinus (neck) region
  • TENS devices can affect the operation of the demand type
    cardiac pacemakers
  • Do not stimulate on the site that may cause current to flow transcerebrally (through the head)
  • Do not apply TENS for undiagnosed pain syndromes until
    etiology is established
