Payor Relations

Once a physician prescribes the medical solution that best fits the patient’s diagnosis, VQ OrthoCare's payor relations group ensures that service to the patient is immediate. Our reimbursement specialists work with payors using VQ OrthoCare's Value/Quality/Optimum model to place the right product on the patient per the physician’s order and the payor’s reimbursement requirements.

Our payor relations group integrates the functions of contracts administration, payor relations external sales and contract development into one cohesive payor relations team, and forms the bridge between VQ OrthoCare and the third-party payor community.

The primary responsibility of the payor relations support team is developing contractual relationships between VQ OrthoCare and the payor community. We focus our efforts on workers’ compensation, managed care (HMO and PPO plans) and traditional indemnity plans, as well as federal and state programs such as Medicare, State Medicaid, Department of Labor, etc.) We also focus on the supporting industries that serve these payor segments (medical case management, bill review, U/R, etc.).
