Our suite of employee benefit options adds to a great work environment and promotes the shared responsibility between VQ OrthoCare and each associate for both individual and company success. We offer a selection of benefits to full-time associates,  make coverage available to eligible dependents, and provide pretax premium deductions. Group Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance

The group insurance offering includes HMO and PPO medical and dental coverage, and the VSP vision plan. HMO benefits may not be available in all states.

Health Savings Account (Aetna Healthfund HSA)

The Aetna Healthfund HSA health offers a new approach to our associates managing their health care and health insurance dollars to meet their needs. Enrollment in this pilot program is subject to eligibility.

Flexible Benefit Accounts

A flexible spending account (FSA) is a voluntary plan that offers regular full-time associates the choice of receiving their full compensation in cash or converting part of their earnings into tax-free benefits. Flex spending accounts are available for medical care, insurance premiums and dependent care.

Life and Accident Insurance

Regular full-time associates are eligible for life and accident insurance following thirty (30) days of continuous employment with the company. 

Disability Insurance

The company provides short and long term disability insurance plans to all regular full-time associates to cover loss of wages due to illness or injury.

Voluntary Supplemental Insurance

VQ OrthoCare is contracted with AFLAC to provide a wide range of voluntary benefit packages at reasonable rates for those associates that have special needs or wish to expand their benefit package.

Vacation

VQ OrthoCare’s vacation benefit is designed to provide eligible regular full time associates a period of rest and relaxation away from work without loss of hourly wages or salary.

The company offers seven paid holidays during each calendar year to all regular active full-time associates:

Sick Days, Bereavement and Jury Duty

VQ OrthoCare’s benefits are designed to minimize the financial hardship that would otherwise confront our associates who are required to miss work due to illness or injury, family bereavement, or jury duty.

401(k) Plan

The VQ OrthoCare 401(k) plan is intended to provide our associates with income after retirement so that they can enjoy a better standard of living in your later years than if they were to rely on Social Security and personal savings alone. All associates are eligible to participate in this plan once the eligibility requirements are met. 

Employee Assistance Plan

All regular full-time and part-time associates and their families are eligible on their first day of employment for an assessment and referral counseling plan known as the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). From time to time, each of us experiences personal problems that can impact our jobs and other aspects of our lives. The EAP is available to help our associates find the best solutions to marital, family, emotional, financial, alcohol/drug, and other personal problems.

Credit Union

VQ OrthoCare is a member of the Orange County Credit Union. All associates of VQ OrthoCare are eligible to join the credit union or one of its affiliates in another state immediately upon hire. 

Employee Referral Program

We encourage and motivate our associates to refer qualified candidates for positions with the company by offering a generous bonus program for new associates referred, hired and retained for six months or longer.

WOW! Employee Recognition Program

Associates are encouraged to recognize their peers for outstanding customer service, teamwork, innovation, creativity and/or community service by awarding them with a WOW! WOWs are redeemable for noncash incentives and are also entered in quarterly drawings for gift certificates.
