Job Description:

The Quality Assurance Engineer supports the Quality Assurance department by developing quality plans, auditing suppliers, reviewing & improving production processes, writing procedures and test reports, and performing failure analysis of returned product from customers. In addition, this position will provide assistance to the Quality Assurance, Product Development & Manufacturing departments in the development of product processes, inspection and test procedures to ensure high quality products and adherence to the Quality System Regulations (QSR).

Job Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering/scientific discipline preferred, AA or equivalent required
  • Additional 7 years related experience or equivalent of education plus directly related education, training and experience
  • Prior Quality Assurance experience in the medical device industry
  • Strong working knowledge of Quality System Regulation and ISO quality standards
  • Experience with new product development
  • Exposure to six sigma and lean manufacturing tools
  • Strong communication, analytical and technical writing skills
