Job Description:
The Product Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, direction, management and coordination of all activities for the assigned product line directly or through the use of appropriate peer and subordinate management and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement budgets, business & marketing plans, sales forecasts and go-to-market strategies for products.
Participate in activities necessary to help train sales, technicians and customers on the technical use of the product.
Establish relationships with key stakeholders (sales, customers, vendors) and manage those relationships effectively for product development, enhancement, marketing and revenue-generation purposes.
Lead and direct product launch teams.
Assist in troubleshooting product complaints.
Establish list pricing and discounting strategies consistent with the company's margin objectives.
Establish key performance indicators for assigned product line(s).
Provide sales & marketing recommendations and methodologies for assigned product line.
Provide technical data for inclusion in product brochures.
Review & provide guidance on technical accuracy of photos, sketches and dialogue.
Develop appropriate messaging for assigned product line and incorporate the message into sales and marketing tools.
Drive the creation and updates for sales, marketing and technical training materials for assigned product line(s).
Generate and release field announcements for new products or product updates.
Attend industry meetings and trade shows and generates and follow up on sales leads.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree preferred plus 8 years related experience or equivalent of education plus directly related education, training and experience
Preferred experience includes product management experience in medical and biomechanical device workplace environments

Certified Orthotist, Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist preferred
